Culture/Lifestyle Thursdays: NYC Fringe Festival
What is better than getting to sit outside in the summer sun, surrounded by people from all over the world, enjoying the talents of various artists and performers? Sounds like the perfect summer Sunday to me. The NYC Fringe Festival, a production of The Present Theatre Company Inc. , starting tomorrow August 9th until August 25th, features over 5,000 artists and 1,200 performers incorporated into 200 live shows, giving you something to do every day for the next two weeks. This festival is one of the largest in the world, with over 75,000 audience members who come from everywhere to enjoy the best talent that NYC has to offer. How could this possible get any better? Tickets are only $15 when you purchase in advance. You can choose to attend anything from comedy, to art, to poetry, to dancing, and also acting in over 20 venues all over the city. The possibilities are endless and I guarantee there is something for everyone in your family or friend group to enjoy. So pick your venue and your show, and get ready for a fun-filled night of entertainment.
