Trim's November 2014 Favorites
November has officially come to an end and unfortunately winter has just about arrived. You groovy people deserve the crème de la crème so we’ve picked out only the loveliest of things to share with you this month. Before you go into complete hibernation for the season, beat those winter blues and check out what we've been loving this November:
Literally EVERYTHING Soap & Glory
You could say studying abroad in the U.K. has a couple of perks, one of which of course being the enormous selection of delicious smelling Soap & Glory products available here but don’t you worry your sweet little heads, Sephora has been expanding their selection. Go! Grab it all!
Too Faced "Better Than Sex" Mascara
Hands down, this is a new holy grail item in my makeup collection. Aside from the spunky, saucy little name and adorable packaging, this mascara also gives insane volume and length to your lashes. Don’t want to commit just yet? See for yourself and go buy a sample size from Sephora. This mascara DELIVERS.
The TopShop Makeup Line
I’m not sure why but I’m always nervous to try out cosmetics lines of clothing stores. However after years of hearing only good things and my growing obsession with all things Topshop, I gave it a go and was very impressed. My current favorites include their very affordable lipsticks and festive, glittery shadows.
Blanket Scarves/ Ponchos
I never thought I would be embracing the former trend of ponchos but in London I have been bombarded with beautiful, warm blanket scarves and wraps on every shelf. I finally gave in and bought one and it is the best winter accessory I could’ve asked for.
"Well Soon"- Walter Mitty and His Makeshift Orchestra
I’m a bit late with this one seeing as the album was released a few months back but it has remained a favorite of mine since it came out. This album is the perfect early morning wake-up music, or chill afternoon, coffee-enjoying music. Scratch that, this album is literally perfect at all times. It’s acoustic sound and youthful feel are a good match for any occasion. A good kazoo solo is always a plus too.
I know this website has a been a travel staple for many yet I was always a tad skeptical. After putting it to the test myself, I can gladly say AirBnb will be a new travel go-to for me. The site can find you some of the most unique, accommodation rooms or homes to rent out during your travels, usually much cheaper than most hotels. Of course, always do your research first but as far as I can see, I’m done with hotels. AirBnb all the way.
Until next month dudes and dolls,
