How To Beat Winter Blues
It’s about halfway through winter break, the holidays are over, and you’re feeling a little bored. You’ve been lounging in bed 24/7 but there is no reason to groan about the cold any longer. Get out and enjoy the crisp air or at least stand up and move around a bit. You won’t regret it! Here we go!
1. Take a hike
What better way to get some fresh air than to go for a hike? Take a walk through the woods and get some exercise. You’ll feel great when you reach the top.
2. Get Cooking
If you’re a dessert pro, try mastering a pasta dish. If you love to grill meat, bake a loaf of sourdough. Take some time in the kitchen to expand your repertoire, it’ll be delicious!
3. Picture Time
Take your friends and the new camera that you haven’t figured out how to use yet to get some great shots around town.
4. Coffee Adventure
Visit a new little café around the Garden State in search of the perfect cup. Not sure where to go? Check out any of these great spots
5. Get Cozy
Ok, I admit, some days just might be a little too freezing to move from the couch. If so, make the most of it by cozying up as much as possible. If you’re missing some aloe vera socks, a fuzzy blanket, or another comfy staple that you’ll need for the next few months, go out right to away to claim it. Then, cuddle up with that book you’ve been meaning to read for ages or start that 500 piece jigsaw puzzle.
6. Create Summer
If you really can’t stop thinking about sunny beach days, bring them to you by making milkshakes and putting on some reggae or your favorite summer movie.
