Trim's December 2014 Favorites

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with strings, here’s some more of my most favorite things from December:

Diva, Mac

If you saw my post about the best lipsticks for the Fall and Winter, you already have a good idea of how obsessed with this lipstick I am. Even though I feel like I mention how much I love this lipstick far too much, I’d be lying if this wasn’t my absolute favorite product this past month.

Night Relaxing Makeup Remover, Clean & Clear

I never thought I could love something as simple and, well, boring as makeup removing wipes, but I truly, truly love these cleansing wipes. They get every speck of makeup and grime off of your face after a long day in one swipe. Also, I usually avoid scented makeup wipes like the plague, but the way these smell is so incredibly pleasant. It may just be a mind trick, but I feel so clean and zen after I’ve used these.

Black Velvet Headband, American Apparel

This headband was my lifesaver during all of the finals studying during December. I know I’m not alone in my hatred for having my hair falling in my face when I’m studying or taking an exam, and this headband kept my hair at bay and looked really good while doing so. It made me feel put together when I was at the library super late or at an exam super early, and for that, I thank you, trusty velvet headband.

Naked 3 Palette, Urban Decay

I used this palette obsessively when I got it for myself last Christmas, and (kind of) forgot about it throughout the spring and summer, but I’ve been gravitating back to it this December, because all of the rose gold colors are essential for the holidays and cold weather. If you’ve ever wanted to try this gorgeous palette out, December and January are the optimal times to give it a go!

Original Dunkin Donuts Coffee Creamer, Dunkin Donuts

For all of my coffee obsessed friends out there, if you haven’t tried this creamer yet, drop what you’re doing and go grab it, because it’s life changing. Unless I’m running on five hours of sleep or less, I don’t usually want black coffee, but I don’t want the overly sweet coffee that you usually get when you use a coffee creamer. This creamer gets my coffee to exactly where I want it to be, not as intense as regular, black coffee and nowhere near as sweet as your average coffee creamer. If you’re someone that loves that sweetness of a coffee creamer, they also carry it in sweetened and extra, extra sweet! I’ll be repurchasing this for a long time to come, and hope every day that they don’t discontinue it.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town - Bruce Springsteen

Quite possibly my favorite Christmas song ever, I’ve been playing this on constant loop since Thanksgiving ended!

Archie, Marry Me - Alvvays

Very few songs or artists can draw me away from constant Christmas music in December, but Alvvays managed to do that throughout December. Ever since my friend showed me this song in early December, I’ve been completely hooked all month, and once you give it a listen, you’ll be hooked too, trust me.

Happy (belated) holidays, my friends!,
