Bonnaroo Music and Arts festival will be taking place next week in Manchester, Tennessee, and as a second-time attendee, here are 5 tips that I wish I had known for my first Bonnaroo. Enjoy!

1. Bring/buy a camelback

I learned my lesson the hard way last year by just having a reusable plastic bottle and suffering in the heat during longer sets when I couldn’t go refill my small bottle

2. BABY WIPES

Baby wipes are the number one essential besides the obvious need for water. If you don’t want to pay to shower, these will save your life.

3. Sunscreen, of course!

You do not want to go 4 or 5 days in the intense heat of Tennessee without an army of sunscreen!

4. A solar powered phone charger

These run about $20 on Amazon, and they’re a must to make sure your phone is charged to check the Bonnaroo app and to be able to meet up with your friends!

5. An EZ up tent for your camp site

This is an essential campsite component that I never would have thought to bring for my first round of ‘Roo, but thankfully a friend did because it became our main spot during the day when we’d come back to camp to rest between sets.

Hopefully these tips are helpful for any first time Bonnaroo, or even a festival-goer this summer!

Stay true,
